HELP & CONTACT
Make a bookmark
worth returning to.
FeedStory is being prepared for its first public release. This guide describes that version; some internal test versions have additional features.
Save and study
- Share a web URL from another app and choose “Save to FeedStory,” or tap + in FeedStory and paste a link. Open FeedStory to import shared links.
- Open the bookmark, change its title, add tags and write what you learned. Tap Save when finished.
- Use “Open original source” to read or play the original content in its website or app.
- Write a research question, then use “Preview & share question…” to review the text before choosing an external AI or another app. You can save, study and export without an AI app.
- Paste suggestions worth keeping into the separate AI field. Record the model or app if useful; verify important claims yourself.
Keep your knowledge files
“Export all bookmarks as OKF Markdown” creates a new snapshot folder in Files, including iCloud Drive if you choose it. Exports include archived items and never intentionally replace an earlier snapshot. Keep the folder’s index and notes together.
On your computer, edit a note’s title metadata, personal notes, question or AI suggestions. Preserve its ID, metadata structure and section headings. Back on your phone, use “Import an edited note…” to preview and apply that single file. Applying replaces the fields for that ID, including empty fields. Automatic sync and folder-wide import are not available in this version.
Archive or delete
Archive hides a bookmark without deleting it. Turn on “Show archived” to restore it. Delete permanently removes the local record after confirmation. Exported files, backups and external AI conversations are separate copies.
Troubleshooting
Shared bookmark missing? Open FeedStory after sharing. If the extension is absent, enable it under the share sheet’s More options. Only HTTP and HTTPS links are accepted.
Import rejected? Choose a UTF-8 Markdown note exported by FeedStory, smaller than 2 MB. Keep the bookmark-v1 identifier, UUID, source link, dates and required headings. A rejected import does not replace the library.
Original link unavailable? The source may require login or have removed the item. FeedStory saves your link and notes, rather than a downloaded copy of the source.
Email feedstory@6ray.com with your app version, device/iOS version and the steps that caused the problem. Avoid including private notes or passwords.
